While the three open Peninsula Bojangles' have been slightly updated since 2020, their isolated location in Carrollton has, for the most part, remain untouched. The walls are primarily painted teal, the perimeter of the tray ceiling has the slogans intact ("Making sweet tea is an art form.", "Breakfast should never end.", etc.), and carpeting and seating upholstery haven't been swapped out. The only real difference I noticed from my previous July 2019 visit was the absence of beach-themed wall décor, and while I liked it I also wouldn't consider it a huge loss. As long as Bojangles' continues to provide the homey vibes I'm satisfied!
