A brand new Burger King is being built as an outparcel at the corner of the old Glenside Drive Kmart parking lot, and there's no doubt that it'll replace this older location up the street. This is a good move IMO: they'll get better exposure at that intersection which is right off of an interstate exit, with more parking and a better two-lane drive-thru configuration over this isolated old building that sits on a slight incline. This BK is their typical 70s "kitchen/counter area left, dining room/restrooms right" layout with a small side solarium, and it appears to have last been renovated in either the late 1990s or early 2000s judging by the seating and tilework. The restaurant doesn't necessarily seem dingy and run down by any means, but I'll admit that it does look a little outdated and colder compared to their newer wood accented restaurants. I'm just glad that on this photo trip I took notice of the new BK being built and was able to stop by here before it's gone!
