This CEC I went to in Takoma Park had just reopened for games/dine-in about a week earlier, having stuck to takeout orders for longer than most locations; the manager definitely seemed to appreciate my business since I'm sure their income has been pitiful over the past year. This is a newer location, opening almost a year after the introduction of "Rockstar" Chuck E. and featuring most of the same fixtures and ornamentations as the location in Parkville.

Like Parkville the Takoma Park location has the "Circles of Light" show. However, this location was lucky enough to open before Garner Holt's supply of Chuck E. animatronics ran out so they have one here on a stage! While I liked the setup without the bot it's most certainly an improvement to have one included, even if it is the less impressive 16-movement bot. I also like the design of Chuck E.'s stage, which has bars around it that makes it more difficult for kids to actually climb onstage, unlike Studio C Beta/Cappa which are wide open. I was able to catch the end of "Crochet All Day" here for my recording, which was the song I had recently recorded at Rocky Mount NC. I still think the light programming this show provides is fantastic, and as I said above having a Chuck E. animatronic this time around really enhances it.
