Onto the second Chuck E. Cheese's visit of the day, and another one that's in an unconventional location. The shopping center it's in is basically a giant three-story parking garage (one that a dump truck fell through in 2019), and while most of the center's store are located outside on the top level, Chuck E. Cheese's and Planet Fitness are on the ground level inside the garage itself! That means that CEC has very few windows to allow natural daylight in, which gives it a nighttime feel inside at all times. Looking past that, the location itself reminded me of this Columbus, Ohio store in terms of layout. The ordering/prize counter, kitchen entryway, and restroom entryway are mostly flat against the left wall instead of jutting out at an angle like most other locations, with the showroom directly behind it, and the games/rides floor consumes the entire right portion of the building. And the building has the typical Phase 4 aesthetic from its' 2008 renovation, but with certain areas overlooked such as the restrooms. This location is expected to receive a 2.0 remodel this fall, so I'm glad I made the time to go here while I could.
