Well this was a challenging one to say the least. The previous version was so powerful. However, far too much realism had been sacrificed to get the image as concentrated as it needed to be. All of these local edits are relatively easy in black and white but once you put colour in the mix things can get messy fast. I used a variety of techniques to arrive at what you see here. Hopefully, the strong central stream is still there but the image as a whole looks a little more believable. One thing you will definitely notice is that Mount Rainier survives this edit. The drum scan by Tim Parkin certainly gives me the best possible starting point.
