Such a joy to be working with a scan from a decent slide film exposure. No fighting the stupid shadows like negative film.
I really can't express quite how happy I am with this. I think it is the photo I was waiting for out of the whole shoot. I hope they like it.

I'm still trying to figure out what does and doesn't work with this extremely expired E6 chemistry. This roll (which is quite old and has been in my bag for years) turned out really quite well. Another roll of much newer and better treated Astia developed at the same time came out pretty much unusable.
I was very grateful to see these pictures turn out. I do so love people pictures from this camera.

I took this for the soft morning light but I really like the softness of the out of focus areas. I can't believe I have had this lens for more than two years and never shot it until now (because I had the 80mm f1.9 which is a very similar focal length).
