This is the famous 100m deep Musfer Sinkhole cave in Qatar. It is a bit of an adventure to find it. There is no actual road to it. When you get there you will find that it may not be around much longer as there are trucks dumping rubble VERY closeby.
Went down with my two eldest sons, Liam and Aaron. Aaron was the subject here but I like the way Liam got caught in the frame as he was looking on in bemusement.

This is the Aspire tower and Khalifa Stadium from the vantage point of a pile of rubble in a wasteland. Know what's cool? I thought I had screwed up this exposure. No, it was fine!

Earlier you saw the same scene from my plastic fantastic: the Lomography BelAir X 6-12. This is how the scene looked through the Solinar lens of my Agfa Record III. It is by no means the crispy sharpness of a modern lens. However, it is miles sharper than the plastic lens on the Lomo. It is that classic vintage lens "soft sharp".
I like the way the shutter speed gave just the right blur to the waves.

This is from a recent camping trip with friends and family to our favourite spot in Zekreet, Qatar. You can see Burbie the Suburban and the White Whale.
The camping area is surrounded by cliffs above which is an elevated plataeu. I am on the rim looking down at the campsite.
