Look beautiful, but the real truth is different. This one is not a native plant, was brought to Florida for decoration and now the Brazilian pepper tree (Schinus terebinthifolius) is one of the most tenacious, difficult-to-control invasive plants in Florida, exerting a devastating ecological and economic impact in the area.
