According to the memoirs of Hernando de Escalante Fontaneda, a Spanish shipwreck survivor who lived among the Native Americans of Florida for 17 years and learned their language. The search for the fountain of youth was a true story, and Juan Ponce and many others die at the hand of the Calusa and Timucua arrows; while searching for it. A story that was the fabrications of the Indians of Cuba to get rid of the Spanish Conquistadors. Time has passed and we know there is no fountain of youth, but we know that Florida is blessed with more than 700 fountains that flow more than 8 billion gallons per day.

De acuerdo a las Memorias escritas de Hernando de Escalante Fontaneda, un sobreviviente de un naufragio Español, que vivió con los indios de Florida por 17 años y aprendió sus idiomas. La Búsqueda de la fuente de la juventud fue una verdadera historia, en la cual Juan Ponce y muchos otros murieron por las flechas de los indios, mientras buscaban la fuente de la juventud. Una historia que había sido fabricada por los indios de Cuba para deshacerse de los españoles. El tiempo ha pasado y sabemos que no hay una fuente de Juventud, pero si sabemos que Florida esta bendecido con mas de 700 manantiales que fluyen mas de 8 billones de galones de agua por día).

(Press "L" for Large View). A few seconds before this sandpiper told the others that I was getting to close with a camera. Also I was waiting for the lighthouse bean of light to point at me.

(Analog Camera: Canon A-2 and Tamron AF 75-300mm 1:4-5.6).
Process: Fujicolor Superria X-tra 400 film develop at home with CinesStill CS41 then scan on Epson V600 @ 2,400 dpi. Some contrast adjustment on Nik Color Efex4 and Photoshop CC.
