The Asian Koel is a bird of light woodland and cultivation. It is a mainly resident breeder in tropical southern Asia from India and Sri Lanka to south China and the Greater Sundas. Clicked in the backyard. This shot was clicked with the EF 12 II Extension Tube attached to the 300mm lens. This though does not show in the EXIF data.
