Cute and very rare little Daihatsu. I never had seen one before.
It could be a Fellow Max, a Cuore or a Consorte. I don't know for sure.
This 360 model belongs to the so called Japanese Kei Car or K-car category. After WWII there was a lack of steel and other resources. In spite of that the Japanese government wanted to encourage the sale of small passenger and commercial cars. She created a special category for these small cars for the domestic market with engines with a maximum of 360 cc.
They would become very popular, also abroad.
