After we left the previous Adriauto garage I continued following the same street but some 500 m further I had to stop again. Auto Ruja took my attention.
Here I found a huge collection of some 40 classic cars for sale. Most of them were 70s cars, but also 50s, 60s and 80s cars were among them.

All Lark versions which Studebaker had to offer for model year 1960.
Not much had changed compared to the introduction model.
A 4-Door Wagon was added to the Lark range. Also new was a convertible version.
The 1960 Lark could be recognized by the position of the Studebaker emblem in the center of the grille.

With the arrival of the Lark, all other 'standard' Studebaker models such as Champion, Commander and Golden Hawk Hardtop Coupe were discontinued. Only the Silver Hawk pillared coupe continued.
The 1959 Lark compact car series was designed by stylist Duncan McRae (US, 1919-1984) using many body panels and mechanical components from 1953-1958 models. Nevertheless, he managed to make the car look very different.
The model year 1959 and 1960 Lark had single headlamps.
Note the shape of the grille. Due to economical reasons the Hawk grille was used.
You can find a very interesting article about the history of the Lark here: www.indieauto.org/2021/04/16/1964-studebaker-brooks-steve...

Time-bound cars are also used in comic strips. In the case of the 'ligne claire' school they are even depicted very recognizable.
Car enthusiasts will enjoy the stories of, for example Blake & Mortimer, Lefranc and Tintin.
This blue Dyna Z was found in The Adventures of Tintin, volume 19: The Red Sea Sharks (Cokes in Voorraad/Coke en Stock, 1958).
Drawings by Hergé (Georges Remi, 1907-1983) and Bob de Moor (1925-1992).
This story was first published in Tintin Magazine, 1956-58.
Further we can recognize clockwise:
1950-55 Citroën 2CV AZU,
1955-65 Ford FK 1000 (?),
1955-59 Jaguar MkI 2.4 Litre (?),
1955-57 Simca Vedette,
1950- Tempo Hanseat 3-Wheel Carrier.
The direct predecessor of the PL 17 was the Panhard Dyna Z. It was introduced in June 1953. It had a complete new and smooth streamlined body. Responsible for the avant garde design of the Dyna Z was Louis Bionier (1898-1973) in cooperation with André Jouan. Production started in 1954.
The first series body was made entirely of aluminium. In September 1955 Panhard switched to steel body shells. The bonnet, door panels, boot and bumpers were still made of aluminium.

Central Service of NV Wegtransport, NL was a loyal user of Citroën H/HY. We can distinguish two versions. Five of them have a one-piece windscreen and are produced after February 1964. Two of them are older.
The very basic HY van was designed by André Lefèbvre (France, 1894-1964), Flaminio Bertoni (Italy, 1903-1964) and Pierre Franchiset, and introduced at the October 1947 Paris Car Salon. Throughout its entire life the design stayed almost the same. Still we can recognize some changes.
Some characteristics of the early Phase I model: split windscreen (replaced in early 1964), big sized chevrons on the bonnet (changed to shorter ones in late 1964), narrow vertical rear window with curved corners (changed to a wider square one in Febr. 1963), and semi-circular rear wings (replaced by rectangular ones in Nov. 1969).
Later models were called HY.
French HY vans kept suicide doors till the very end of production. For the Dutch market conventional front hinged doors were introduced in 1968.
Lots of vans have survived as camper or as food truck.
1911 cc (taken from TA) or 1628 cc L4 petrol engine.
C. 1450 kg.
