This bus was in service on the Deventer-Rijssen vv line.
At the left Hendrik Müller, son of bus operator Paul Müller, Holten.
It was probably very special in those days to afford an American bus like this.

NAG Double-Decker bus number 787 on line A2 to Pankow Church. Pankow is a suburb in North-East Berlin. It was operated by ABOAG, since 1929 called BVG.
The phenomenon double-decker bus arose in the mid-19th century in the European metropolitan cities, to handle the increasing traffic within the limited street space.
The first double-deckers were horse-drawn omnibuses. At the beginning of the last century, motorized buses were introduced.
The three letters NAG stand for Neue Automobil-Gesellschaft AG, or after 1915 Nationale Automobil-Gesellschaft.
NAG started building automobiles in cooperation with the electricity company AEG in 1901.

Using cars and trucks for publicity purposes has a long tradition.
I found this image as an early example of vehicles as an advertisement object.
This Ford made promotion for the new radio of the Dutch Philips Electronics company in the late 1920s. It has a very weird cabin I must say.
The Ford Model T was one of the longest produced cars of Ford. It didn't change a lot during it's lifetime.

Production Model T: 1908-1927.
