The engineer Paul Génestin (1881-1934) started to make automobiles in Fourmies (Nord) in 1920. In 1922 he was the founder of S.A. des Automobiles P. Génestin. Till 1929 the small company made some 100 cars.

This was the oldest participant at the SPCN 25th Anniversary event. In 1927 the Big Six series was replaced by the Studebaker 1926-1942 President.
Studebaker is one of the oldest American car manufacturers. Main engineers at Studebaker in its early years were Carl Breer (1883-1970), Frederick Morell Zeder (1886-1951) and Owen Ray Skelton (1886-1969).

André Citroën (1878-1935) started his company in June 1919. However three months earlier he announced his first car to the press. This was Type A, produced from 1919 to 1921.
The successor Type B was increasingly popular.
