The 504 was designed by Aldo Brovarone for Pininfarina and presented in 1968. A huge estate was added in Sept. 1970.
For 1975 the 504 received a minor style up-date e.g. with restyled door handles.
In 1979 the 504 Pick-up replaced the 404 Pick-up.
In 1983 the last 504 Berline came from the French Peugeot production plant.
The Pick-up was manufactured at Chausson and continued for more than a decade longer.

The Renault 9 was introduced in Oct. 1981 and was related to the 1983 Renault 11. The R11 was a 5-door Hatchback, while the R9 was a 4-door Saloon.
Both variations were designed by Robert Opron. First sketches were made back in 1977.
In 1983 and 1987 the 9 underwent style up-dates.

1108 or 1397 cc.
Production R9 in France: 1981-1989.
