The 204 Berline was designed by Battista Pininfarina (1893-1966) and was presented in Paris, April 1965.
It was Peugeot's first front-wheel-drive car.
A 5-door estate version was added in Autumn 1965. Finally a 3-door coupé-hatchback and a cabriolet followed in 1966. The 204 range was completed with a fourgonnette. This was in fact a 3-door estate without side windows after the B-pillar.
Once my father had a 1974 204 Berline. I remember the bad accessibility under the bonnet: it was completely filled with tubes, hoses, wires and engine parts... a disaster for mechanics.
This early 204 cabriolet was parked in front of the side entrance of the Grote Kerk in Oostzaan. Inside the church there was a small photo exhibition in the context of a local classic car meeting, which takes place every year at the end of the Summer period.

It is also possible that we see here the successor of the A30/A50 Series truck: the Daf A1100/A1300/A1600 Series which was introduced in 1955. I'm not sure about that.
Note the special windscreen shape. It is typical for Dutch public transport busses from the 1950s and 1960s. The cabine could be converted by a coachwork company (probably by nearby located Karhof, Purmerend because I recognize equal other cabins by Karhof).

At the annual Oostzaan classic car meeting, which takes place every end of the Summer period, besides some 40-50 classical cars also a few old local trucks were gathered around the church.
The company Ruig & Zonen is every year represented with some trucks and classical cars.
The Daf A-1500 Series trucks were replaced by A-1600 truck. It received a new designed cabin in 1959 and a new range of engines. The four-part windshield with a central split was only used in 1959. For the 1960 model cabin the central split disappeared.
The first series had a three horizontal strip front grille, in 1964 reduced to only two strips. Around 1964 the small ventilation openings under the A-pillar were replaced by two small ventilation grilles alongside the cooling grille.
