The last image from my New Mexico trip.

The beginning of this trip was fraught with problems: my GPS stopped working, my tripod was damaged on in transit, my laptop died and my bags didn't make it to Albuquerque on the same flight I did. That first day, on the drive from Albuquerque to Farmington, I had intended to scout Chaco Canyon, but after having to wait for my bag, there was no time. Instead, I took random detours down dirt roads off 550 to explore and photograph. This was one of these random dirt roads that I drove down around sunset. The light was lovely, the landscape amazing - what a beginning to the trip.
