On that foggy night, we circled this bergy bit (see previous post) a few times. Some of the photographers on the boat didn't have wide enough lenses to take it in, so they asked the captain to back away and as we did, it began to fade into the fog. This is the 'foggiest' of the foggy images I've posted, almost painterly in its softness, but I like it as it represents the quiet and mystery of that night quite well.

This is the last image I'll post from my trip to Greenland. Thank you so much for the all your favs and, especially, your comments. They have meant a lot to me. I have no photography trips planned until December, so it might be a while before you see more images from me, but I hope to keep up with all your images in the meantime. Again, thank you!
