Most people, when they think "Colorado" probably think of the mountains, but eastern Colorado has the wide-open landscape of the Great Plains that I love so much.

This trip to eastern Colorado and Kansas was a substitute (lemonade from lemons, if you will) for a storm chasing trip that same week that got cancelled. It turned out to be a lovely little trip.
