Finding a new perspective on a place that has been shot extensively is always a challenge. I have had this shot in mind for a while. Prepared to get wet, I got drenched from head to toe by the waves repeatedly. For someone who initially used to run out of the water afraid of getting my shoes wet, must say have come a long way in risking it all for a shot. The salt spray on my face was as exhilarating as the view from behind the wave curtain. Oh..one more thing, turns out the Nikon d800e can get showered on repeatedly and still works fine. :)

Over the past year I traveled to several places in search of exotic shots/locations. Hoping to get that elusive shot with explosive color. This was taken in my neighborhood. An important reminder that beautiful shots are all around us. So very fortunate to be living in California :)

A trip to the southern hemisphere and suddenly spring is transformed to fall :) Just got back from a trip to Patagonia. Will try to share pictures of Patagonia that are hopefully to some extent different from the quintessential landscape scenes of the region.
