The House of Prelada, was built in the 15th century, and between 1743 and 1748 was renovated and integrated in one of the biggest landscape projects of the architect and painter Nicolau Nasoni.

Like other old family mansions in Porto, this house has just been renovated and adapted for necessary quests, like research among others, and cultural events. It opened to the public last 12th May 2013 and the visit to the house and gardens are free.
