Patrícia has a wonderful voice and sings Fado with passion, but Porto has not a great tradition as far as Fado is concerned. When Fado singers want to have a career they must go to Lisbon and try their fortune there. Patrícia has a dream, but tremendous difficulties to face on her move to Lisbon. Traditionally, Fado is sung at typical Restaurants late in the evening during dinner time. So, there is no such light as in this photograph. But, whenever Patrícia arrives at Casa da Guitarra - a shop where you can buy different kinds of Guitars and other music instruments - she sings when asked to sing no matter what the time of the day it is. She loves singing...
