I was in Ashton town centre at around lunchtime on this day and I decided, purely on a whim, to drive to Derby. I don't know how I managed it, given the traffic and what-have-you, but I managed to get there, get parked, fire off several rolls of film and get back by teatime. Wouldn't want to try it on such a tight timescale nowadays.
