Originally new to East Staffordshire with East Lancs double-deck bodywork, this Atlantean was rebodied with an East Lancs single-deck version while owned by Sheffield Omnibus. Following takeover of Sheffield Omnibus by Yorkshire Traction, XRF was transferred to fellow Traction group fleet, Road Car as their 252.
