One of several Leyland National Greenway conversions that Blackburn acquired, working in conjunction at the time with East Lancs in the rebuilding process. The distinctive registration reveals this to be a former Crosville National 2 example, new originally as a dual-door bus for use on the Runcorn busway. Similar AFM 1W from the same batch ended up with nearby Hyndburn, also converted to a Greenway.
