Spent months, maybe even the better part of two years hanging out the windows of moving cars, had my subjects hanging out the windows of moving cars, and damned if we never lost a single item.
Once we lost a hat, it was already dark out, we'd been driving around the Hollywood Hills, curved winding roads, Jessica lost a hat...but we found that little fucker, shocked the hell out of all of us!
Camera never fell, none of the ladies ever had a close call, slipped a little too far out, nobody ever got too scared...Randi of course was a blast, last year was a rough one for her, serious health troubles that had us all worried, because she's such a great lady, you want health problems for your enemies (I heard two days ago an acquaintance lost their house in the recent fires...I'm not saying I was Happy, but...), you don't want 'em for folks like Randi.
Just before the new year, got news she was gonna be a-okay, big relief. Means one of these days I'm gonna get her in a car again, hair flapping in the wind (not in this image, this one I'm clearly standing outside the car, wanted a nice easy photo in-between us taking our lives in our hands), looking great and laughing it up.
