We actually went to Clumber to try and snap some autumnal leaves but I guess we were a week early.

Actually a hand-held HDR triplet, processed in two ways, Dynamic Photo HDR and Photomatix, then blended together.

I guess, if you're in Clumber Park in late October, you're going to have a crack at this!?!
My wife tells me it's actually called Lime Trees Avenue.
Wickipedia tells me that the first of the 1,296 trees that form the almost 2-mile-long avenue (one of the longest of its kind in the world) were planted in 1840.
Human nature tells me that I will be back again within the next couple of weeks for another go!

After an abysmal Saturday in the Peak District, the late October sunshine lured us to our local beauty spot, the National Trust's Clumber Park.
Apparently, half the population of Nottinghamshire had the same idea. It was absolutely heaving!
