One thing I have never managed to master is stained glass. This is a detail from one of several splendid windows in Sheffield Cathedral.

First picture in 3 weeks (and I was begining to suffer from withdrawal symptoms!) My old pc died on me completely. Apparently motherboard failure? So I am now running Windows 7 on a spanking new HP Pavilion.
Why is it that evey time they introduce a new version of windows, it seems more difficult to use? (Or is it me?)
This is Sheffield Cathedral on a Saturday lunchtime. I thought the sign at the end of the Nave was rather quirky. (there were loads of Morris Dancers wandering around with pints in their hands!)

Slightly cropped centre from an 8mm Fisheye shot of the Nave of Sheffield Cathedral. The "stripes" on the floor are where the pews have all been taken out in order to accommodate the hundreds of Morris Dancers that had virtually taken over the city centre for the day.
This is a much pulled, pushed, bent and twisted hand-held HDR triplet so I'm quite pleased with the result.

The starting point : The standard exposure element of a 3-shot HDR triplet of one of the stained glass windows in Sheffield Cathedral. A lot of clutter plus the chandeliers weren't symetrical and so had to come out.

The finished article, having pushed, pulled, jiggled and joggled plus, above all, removed the off-centre chandeliers (see if you can spot where they were) and banner. About 2 hours work but it's alot cheaper than going to the pub!
