An old stone trough in the gardens of Tissington Hall. The gardens were suffering the delays of our late spring but show ecxcellent promise for the summer.
I forgot to reset the ISO so this is taken at ISO800. Daft for an outdoor shot! It's a but grainy at full size but not too bad for ISO800?

We visited the Peak District village of Tissington today. The main purpose of the trip was to visit Tissington Hall which is only open to the public on 28 days throughout the year. It is also Well Dressings week, this week so "two birds, one stone" etc.
Note that at 4 o'clock in the afternoon on 14th May, the air temperature was 6 degrees and slinging it down with rain!

We went to Tissington to have a look around the Hall on one of only 28 days that it is open each year. The well dressings were an added bonus! Some of the flower petals were beginning to fade a little but they were still pretty spectacular. Apparently, there were six wells but we could only find these four.
