A couple of shots of some of the clematises (OED says that is the plural!) growing up the wall of the breakfast room. They have come very well this year. I guess April was a pretty good month all round, for the garden

It had just stopped raining a s I went down to the shed at the bottom of the garden and spotted the heron, still dripping. Not totally happy with this one so may have another go at it next time it rains (tomorrow?)
