Another early-morning shot from Tuesdays trip to Mansfield's Market Square. This is the Bentinck Memorial, erected to the memory of Lord William George Bentinck, in 1849. This pic awas taken just before seven o'clock, a couple of hours before the shops re-openned after lockdown.

Back in Mansfield, late yesterday afternoon. Nice and quiet so no hassle! Just had a wander around and plenty of snappies! Known by many locals as 'the leaning man", this sculpture by David Annand of Dundee that was created in 2007 is situated at the foot of Church Street. It is titled "Amphitheatre" and according to the sculptor "it depicts a Council Officer struggling to keep up the crumbling infrastructure". Some words on the base by Kevin Fegan, a local playwright and poet, read: "Search for a clearer view ...." (2006).
