Last couple of phone-pics (Samsung Galaxy S21 G5) from our visit to Newark, on Wednesday (23.02.22). The water level was not quite as high as when I last saw the "Newark Trent Waterfalls" but still pretty spectacular. The view of the Castle and Town Lock was snapped from the old bridge to the flour mill (see aerial view).

In the wake of Dudley, Eunice and Franklin, I took the opportunity to nip over to Kings Mill Viaduct Waterfall, this morning and I'm glad that I did. I reckon that this is the heaviest flow that I have seen, there!

Although yesterday was still a bit on the cool side, it was ideal walking weather so we headed off to the Derbyshire Peak District for a look at Beeley Brook. Although parking in Beeley was every bit the nightmare it has always been, the 2-mile walk up to the waterfall and back was most enjoyable (if still a tad on the muddy side!)
