The video is showing 4 main stages :
- The building of the set pieces, the buildings and the neon billboards.
- The costumization and the posing of the minifigs.
- The lighting process (how I built the light).
- The compliation of all the pictures, that shows the research for the best composition, lighting and live effects. And the final result image.

The main idea is to get everything in camera on the set and not to create anything in post-production as it will look less "organic". Just like in movies, you try to get as much as live effects as you can !

Here is a little video I made with all the shots of my last set up. 912 frames has been taken, you can see a bit of how I process during the shootings. I spend several hours getting step by step to the right arrangement. I hope you gonna like it.

I’m post-producing right now a new Star Wars picture which is driving me crazy. I had to make two shootings for the same set up, 2 120 shots for the first one and 1 173 shots the second time : madness ! Hopefully I did find a new explosion effect technic that I’m gonna use a lot now, I’m very excited about that. Stay tuned the new picture is going to be upload soon !

Here is a new behind the scenes video, showing a compilation of the shots I made for the picture « Battle of Geonosis ». 1171 shots, 85 Go shot in burst mode and that’s only for the second shooting. Indeed the first shooting went wrong, because my camera was too close to the figs, I had too much blur and I couldn't process correctly in post-production. I still did use the fig and the pistol in the foreground from the first shooting actually.

I’m post-producing a new lego picture involving Tiny Tactical’s amazing products and modern military. I should upload it this week-end.
