What a moon tonight! Full of lovely crisp detail in excellent visibility. Almost looks as though bits of the moon are falling off the edge like peeling bark from a tree. The Nikon 200-500 played its part as well.

Rather yellowy moon tonight but after the middle height cloud moved off this lovely clear ball appeared! One of those situations where 'mirror up' really does help to get the detail.

Tripod, mirror up and a long exposure just about handled the fast moving ball in the sky!
