The castle at Duingt reflected in the waters of Lake Annecy. This scene was captured early on a February morning from the pier belonging to the hotel we were staying in. Thanks for viewing.

The icy waters of Riddarfjarden in Ostermalm, Stockholm, captured on a freezing (-15 deg C) but clear morning back in January. The building to the right in the distance is the Vasa museum, housing the only intact 17th century ship that has ever been salvaged. Thanks for viewing.

A 70 second exposure of the waterfront on Nybrokajen, Stockholm, captured about an hour after sunset. Conditions were not ideal for photography – minus 20 deg C, light snow falling, my spectacles freezing over and a damaged tripod. Nevertheless, I managed to get a couple of clean, sharp shots which I was happy with. Thanks for viewing.

Reynisfjara was a place I was looking forward to visiting during a road trip around southern Iceland. The weather had been rather overcast on this particular day but when we arrived here early evening we were greeted with a fabulous mix of low mist and high cloud. Thanks for viewing.

This image was taken through an aircraft window about five minutes after taking off from Turin airport. The hills mark the southern boundary of the Alps and were partly obscured by haze and early morning mist. In Lightroom I upped the contrast and reduced the temperature to give the desired effect. Thanks for viewing.
