Paul and Karma does it get any better? the surface Paul is standing on is an old sea floor where the sediment changed to mud that killed off the Stromatolites. The tops of the earlier pillar structures (cream beige) just poke through the muddy soft brownish red rock. The peaks of Crowfoot mountain and Crowfoot Glacier are in the background

Tired of my snow on the top of the ridge I am moving down in elevation to some more green and fall colours. The waterfall is in the naturally fractured slate that has 2 sets of "cleavage" fractures if you follow the lines into the waterfall.

View on Black to see the water drops
the rain and snow was hanging in the trees and the smell of the Fir trees is distinctive and refreshing!
This was the beginning of the hike in the thick forest

Paul is standing on the tops of the cylindrical stromatolites I think of "Alien Eggs" in a fossil form, I the background a bedding surface perfectly exposed represents a moment of time 560 million years ago. Behind that is Cirque peak in the clouds.
