~~~A Moment in Time~~~
The World is Full of Balances
Darkness and light
Goodness and evil
Sorrow and Joy
Brian Adam drew breath on this earth for only one hour
That is great sorrow
Yet this baby left behind a legacy of joy
A beautiful birth, an expression of a great love between
Man and wife - Gerry and Sonia
The closeness of family
Two beautiful daughters waiting at home for their parents
The warmth of friends here today
to help give strength to the people they love
God's will and love are demonstrated in ways which are often difficult for us to understand?
We must not doubt these but accept and live the moments
of joy as they are given to us
By: Chuck Replane
Brian our third child, first son, was born in São Paulo, Brazil, he lived for only a little over an hour outside my womb, but it was one of the hardest moments in my life and left both my husband, Gerry and I in disbelief and utter pain. Thankfully, we had amazing friends who supported us as we were both far from home, Gerry's family were in New York, USA and mine in London, England. Chuck Replane was one of our best friends and he wrote this poem in tribute to Brian, and our beloved friend Chuck dreamt the night before Brian was born that he would die shortly after birth the next day.
This was an abstract painting that I painted in Brian's honour and to help me cope with the situation even though it was painted many years after the fact, somehow doing the painting helped me get some closure.
We always have to move on. whatever life gives us. We were very fortunate to have 2 beautiful daughters and friends that were there for us when we needed them.
With heartfelt and genuine thanks for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day, be well, keep your eyes open, appreciate the beauty surrounding you, enjoy creating, stay safe and laugh often! ❤️❤️❤️
