Here in Florida we are entering the Hurricane season early. Hurricanes damage our wildlife, flora and fauna and our countryside. But one of the most serious problems is over building and under planning. It is time to plan our cities and smaller areas better. Traffic and poor planning are becoming huge problems here in Florida. City, planners must consider many factors, including the economy, the environment, and cultural and transportation needs. They must also study current uses of existing buildings, roads and facilities in their city, as well as how these uses may affect the city in the future. Plus with the threat of a hurricane they must plan well for a hurried exodus and this appears to be coming more and more difficult because of the large expansion of new buildings and population and the poor exodus planning.
