The changing light at sunset was quite interesting as I practiced on the very tame Redheads. As they shifted I finished with them set against green, blue and gold colored water. I prefer them on gold.....where as the Ring-necked Ducks looked best against blue/silver. At least to me eye :)

My Alaska trip was absolutely amazing! Every day was filled with incredible sights and fabulous adventures. We arrived at Manley Hot Springs to rain and poor weather. Every cloud has a silver lining though. Our canoe trip was cancelled so our guides arranged a boat ride instead. We went up the slough with a wonderful local man. He showed us where he had just caught the salmon we had later than night for dinner. On the way back from Tenana River a Moose swam across in front of us!

I arrived to at the lake to find hundreds of Chimney Swifts swirling over the lake. They came down in a single flock to dip into the water. A fabulous spectacle!

I can wander around in Pennsylvania and never see a person. It's such a quiet peaceful place. The neighbor has a beautiful friendly horse. The only one out and about in the early morning with me.
