This was an amazing find at Lake Elkhorn in Columbia, Howard County Maryland. Only the second one I have seen in the county.

I tried and tried to get a close picture....but he went into the tearthumb and I couldn't relocate him. I'm not a fan of tearthumb!

This little cutie was in the goldenrod...he looked like he was waving to me...probably he was terrified at the giant peering at him and was trying to bluff his way out! I left him undisturbed and hopefully no worse for the encounter.
