It seems this winter is more clouds and rain that sunshine. A beautiful sunny day was a treat....and so were close to a hundred Black Vultures in a roost. Some were bathing in the stream and finding perches to dry off on. I'm not sure who enjoyed the sunshine more?

Just as the sun was rising I spotted this Harrier perched in the bottom of the field. I have rarely seen the undertail of this lovely raptor......except in flight.

I know most people go to Conowingo Dam to see the Bald Eagles in winter. I have only been there once and saw a little different "bald" bird :)
