Was thrilled to see quite a few of these gorgeous Aurora Damels. I wish I could have gotten a side picture with that beautiful yellow. Not that I'm complaining :)

I would say that every side is the "right" side. My last outing only yielded a top view so I was happy to get this beautiful yellow side in the photo.

Many pairs in tandem. The first female I've seen! Not common for me at home and this was the most numerous damsel of the day!

I only scratched the surface of what Odes were in the area. I was so overwhelmed with how many there were it was hard to know what to focus on. Aurora Damsels are not common for me at home. This was the only pair I saw on the trip but I could have easily missed more.

We were delighted to find the Aurora Damsels coming of the pond in droves. I have always thought they are one of the most beautiful damselfly. Their colors while in teneral form are exquisite.
