The first Ruby Meadowhawks of the season were fluttering about as tenerals. I think of them mostly as a fall species....with my sparrows :)

I was a bit dejected after spotted and missing two more male Little Blue Dragonlets! The Ruby Meadowhawks were certainly not elusive and perched nicely for portraits.

The golden field was home to so many Blue-faced Meadowhawks it became a game to find anything different. Just one.....one was enough :)
