I had been hoping for years to see a mature Dot-tailed Whiteface. Not one I can see at home I've missed it on all my Maryland outings. I was very excited to see one soon after I arrived in Pennsylvania. I spent quite some time trying to catch this one. Little did I know I'd soon see them everywhere :)

A new lifer for me! This Dot-tailed Whiteface doesn't yet have his tail dot...but does have his white face. I felt very lucky to have spotted this fellow since he was the only one of the day. Allegheny County, Maryland.
