Male Lions begin to grow their manes at about twelve months of age and it usually stops growing at age three or four. These two young males arrived with a group of six other lions and entered another lion prides territory and took over a zebra kill, a lot of drama ensued ,here they are tracking the three lions from the other pride, one of which was a large young male and whenever he turned around to face them they would go down and submit and as soon as the others started to move on they would start stalking them again, this went on for over an hour. That night in camp you could hear the lions roaring and challenging all night .It was so interesting to see how lions interact with one another and just how hard their lives are living in the wild.

When we first came across this Leopard he was facing the other way and we waited it out and after about 45 minutes he turned around and offered this great pose. It is something very special when you come across one of these beauties in the wild.
Thanks to all who comment or mark as a favorite it really is much appreciated.
