I finally got around editing the photos I took during a trip to Iceland, last October. I'm going to share most of them and the idea, if I manage to take the time, is to also include some info on the place/subject of the photo and my own experience, where relevant.

We went on trip around the Reykjavik port area on the very first day, with the idea of hopefully spot some marine wildlife. We weren't that lucky with whales (we did see a Minke Whale, but it was from great distance), but dolphins were present in good number. We were blessed with one of the most beautiful days, in terms of weather, of the trip and that made the experience definitely more enjoyable.

I've shot this one from afar, on the whale-watching boat. This was the first encounter, really, with what became a familiar sight in Iceland: the typical rubble/moss landscape caressed by a smooth, thick mist.

I like the compression given by the distance and focal length, here. It's rare that I shoot landscape with a tele, but I enjoy trying to reach for something afar, every now and then. The mix of that and the morning light also made for a pleasing colour rendition, if you ask me!
