The Wanderoo is a medium sized monkey from the macace species and lives in the Western Ghats in South India.
It's a day animal that lives in small groups, mostly in the top of trees.
It's also the most threatened macace species, but the good news is that there numbers seem to be a bit improving recently.

A rural view in the Philippines after sunset time
Nice colours in the sky, so a good moment for a landscape picture. Although we were mostly in september in the Philippines, not the best time for sunsets, I managed to photograph some nice colourful scenes.

Autumn in the Netherlands , part four

It is time for the uploads of my favorite season , autumn.
Fall is the season of the most beautiful colours in the forests of the Netherlands.
Here's a path in the forest, a bit hue processed and glowed.

Paphos Archaeological Park

Extensive work has been taking place to complete the exploration and preservation of the mst important archaeological areas of Paphos. This site stretches from behind the castle at the harbour to the west towards the western gate and back to the main road. It includes the Mosaic houses , The Odeon and the Agora and many more. There's a white modern lighthouse o top of the Akropolis.
The site contains partly Hellenistic remains, though the mosaic houses are Roman, with greek texts describing the scenes.

Rural scene in Luzon

As most of the people in the Philippines live near and besides the roads to sell there goods, and ofcourse most of them are in the cities, it's a good thing for a photographer to check out the countryside. One has even not to travel so far away from the roads, just a few hundred meters and you're in the middle of the rural scene.
