This is the window over my computer table, and my cat, Ember, alerts me that she wants to come inside by scratching at the screen on that window, so I thought I'd try and get a picture of her doing that. It turned out too dark to work as a straight picture of her, but the eyes are fantastic.

This isn't one of her usual sleeping spots.

She was all curled up in a tight ball, so I went to my computer area in the basement to get the Kodak EasyShare camera, but she had uncoiled herself by the time I got back upstairs, but I'd thought I'd get a picture anyway.

I'm afraid I had to use flash, as it was too dark to get a steady shot.

Probably not, but I thought she was cute sleeping on the Ottoman near the television, so I put the DVD with the season 1 Sailor Moon episode, "Loved and Chased: Luna's Worst Day Ever" ("Kitty Chaos" in the English dub) into the DVD player and paused during the scene at the beginning when Luna the cat is being chased by all of those alley cats (and a small pink cat is biting her tail).

Yes, that umbrella in the background has Sailor Moon on it.

Ember the fat tabby cat sometimes acts apprehensive of Sam the half-labrador dog, but she can also act affectionate towards him, rubbing up against his legs just after I let her inside from being outdoors.

I think, in this case, she was a little bothered by Sam's presence, but was too comfortable for it to be worth leaving her usual sleeping spot on the Ottoman (plush foot stool).
