I think this looks like the 1940s, except with Starbucks. It's at the Faubourg Sainte-Catherine market complex near Guy-Concordia Metro.
By the way, this was taken with actual black-and-white Kodak film. I didn't desaturate a colour photo or anything.

Yeah, one spectacular shot! This is the corner of de Maisonneuve and Mountain (de la Montagne, but "Mountain" was named after a person, so they shouldn't have translated the name), looking "southeast" (Montreal grid orientation, which is more like northeast in the real world) towards the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce tower.
