This Metro supermarket on Cardinal Leger Boulevard in Pincourt, just south of the Faubourg de l'Île shopping centre, is the only supermarket on the entire island of Île Perrot that has operated under the same banner in the same location from before the time I moved to Pincourt in 1981, when I was just 6 years old, until today.

It used to be smaller, though. It's expanded at least twice, as far as I can remember, and could probably just expand to take up the whole plaza, since the rest of the plaza has always been kind of a retail black hole.

The intersection of Don Quichotte Boulevard and Grand Boulevard is where Île-Perrot Toyota was located from the mid-1980's to 2008, but, in 2009, it will move to a new location in Pincourt, on Boulevard du Traversier along Highway 20 near Cardinal Leger Boulevard.

This wasn't the first location for Ile Perrot Toyota; it used to be in a tiny building on Grand Boulevard across the street from Vivian Graham Elementary School (now école primaire Virginie-Roy).

This is the entrance at the southwest corner of Le Faubourg de L'Île shopping centre, formerly Centre d'achats Île Perrot, in Pincourt.

This extension, adding an "L" to the former "7"-shaped shopping center to make it a complete rectangle as well as adding a Zellers department store, was added in 1993. The Urban Planet fashion store is in the location formerly occupied by Pharmaprix (Shoppers Drug Mart), which moved to the former Maxi space when Maxi moved to a larger location across Cardinal Leger Boulevard.

This is one of TWO Couche-Tard dépanneurs (convenience stores) located at the intersection of Don Quichotte Boulevard and Grand Boulevard in the town of Île-Perrot.

This one is at the northwest corner of the intersection. It was built in the late 1980's and has changed banners more than once. Originally, it was a La Maisonnée until parent company Steinberg went out of business in 1992. Then, it was briefly something called "Le Frigo" before it became a Provi-Soir. Finally, it became a Couche-Tard in the mid-1990's when Couche-Tard consolidated most other dépanneur chains in Quebec.

I think the gas pumps were always Petro-Canada, though I'm not 100% confident that I'm remembering accurately.

This one is at the southeast corner of the intersection and used to be a Perrette dépanneur until Couche-Tard consolidated most Quebec dépanneur chains in the mid-1990's.

I don't think the gas pumps were ever branded with anything other than the name of the dépanneur they were attached to.
